Oak in the Snow

Collections: Fine Art Film

Type: Fine art landscapes

This Oak tree was here before I was born, and probably you too, and it will be standing here long after I am gone. I wonder if that's why some people seem to hate trees and want to see them cut down, they remind them of their mortality. I like the idea of continuity, the unbroken and consistent existence of something over time combined with the majesty of reaching its full height and width, even if I'm not around to see it

Location: The Garden of England
